iAGRI: Innovation Integrated into the AGRAVIA Ecosystem

A major highlight of the 2026 edition was the successful debut of iAGRI, a dedicated trade fair for agri-tech innovations and smart farming solutions.

Launched in response to growing market demand, iAGRI created a professional environment where technology developers, agribusinesses and companies from adjacent sectors such as engineering, IT and biotechnology could connect around practical applications for modern agriculture.

The exposition showcased a wide range of advanced solutions, including digital platforms, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, IoT technologies, biotechnology, and unmanned and robotic systems. Another key element of the trade fair was the iAGRI Innovation Forum, which featured 30 business events focused on AI, robotics, genomic selection, industrial biotechnology and regenerative agriculture.

In addition, the Skolkovo Foundation, one of Russia’s leading innovation institutions, organized 40 one-to-one mentoring sessions for 32 agritech start-ups, supporting commercialization, product development and market readiness.

Together, the iAGRI exhibition and forum created a distinct innovation environment within the broader AGRAVIA trade fair, linking technological development directly with market demand.

International Collaboration: Broadening Global Reach

International participation grew significantly in 2026, with over 300 companies from 31 countries accounting for nearly one-third of all exhibitors. The strongest foreign representation came from China (116 companies), Belarus (44) and Turkey (26), while Hungary organized a national pavilion. Companies from Brazil, Slovenia and South Korea participated for the first time.

The trade fairs also welcomed 15 business missions, including first-time delegations from Southeast Asia (ASEAN), further strengthening AGRAVIA & iAGRI as a platform for international industry dialogue and cross-border cooperation.

To support global exhibitors and visitors, the organizers introduced several dedicated networking and business formats:
International Visitor’s Lounge — a dedicated hub for B2B meetings and international business networking
Embassy Hour (G2B sessions) — meetings with embassies and trade missions from a range of partner countries
Networking Without Borders (B2B sessions) — targeted roundtables with international business leaders and industry associations

The international business agenda also featured seven themed forums focused on EAEU cooperation and Russian-Chinese collaboration in swine production and crop innovation. In addition, Agros Expo Group LLC formalized a strategic partnership with the B2BASEAN Alliance, further expanding the fairs' international cooperation network.

The next edition of AGRAVIA & iAGRI will take place on
20−22 January 2027 at Crocus Expo in Moscow.
